Alex Smith is a recent Springboard UI/UX program graduate who is passionate about creating compelling and attractive design solutions by employing her creativity to offer unique twists. She also believes that efficiency counts just as much as good design does when it comes to meeting quick turn-around times. 

She has mastered the skills necessary for creating effective UI, such as: information architecture, wireframing, prototyping and testing, eCommerce and more. She has completed three long-term design projects through her recent program that have resulted in clean, effective solutions, complete with case studies. Currently, she is working to continue building and strengthening her portfolio to allow herself to be available to a wide array of work opportunities in the field.

In her past, she has also worked as a graphic designer; both as an independent contractor and as a dedicated team member.

When she is not creating design solutions, you can find her either scaling the rock walls of Yosemite, or painting in her studio. The natural world was her first love; she is devoted to celebrating it through both fine art and through movement.
